Once again, Masons from the Paddock Wood Masonic Hall came together to parade from St. Andrew's Church to the War Memorial in Paddock Wood's village square. This time, however, for the first time, we were given permission to parade with the Lodge Banner.

Whilst at this meeting we didn't Initiate, Pass, or Raise a Candidate (That comes next month), we had two exceptional items on the agenda.

Our Grand Officer not only presented a Grand Lodge Certificate to Bro, Tom Coxon, but also gave a fascinating insight into the history of Freemasonry. Given in an absolutely riveting and enthralling manner. For instance. . . who knows what a Cowan to Freemasonry really is. (Answers on an email please).

Once again, we held our 'Empty Chair' ceremony during which we show our appreciation for those who laid down their lives to provide us with the freedoms that we all enjoy today.

Paddock Wood Lodge has always, proudly, remembered those who laid down their lives for the freedoms that we all enjoy.

We will be performing our 'Empty Chair' ceremony to celebrate them all.

We have a new Joining Member, and we shall be welcoming him with our unique Joining Ceremony.

Our Grand Officer, W.Bro. Michael Coggles, will be presenting Bro. Coxon with his Grand Lodge Certificate, and will afterwards all enjoy a WWII themed meal at our Festive Board.
